DHS (Hi-Span)

The Dimond Hi-Span purlin range is New Zealand’s original optimised section shape. Speed of installation is assured as Hi-Span purlins and girts are supplied complete with brace channels ready for site assembly. Hi-Span purlins are available in 12 sizes from DHS 150/12 to DHS 400/20 to suit commercial applications from 5m to 18m spans. Plus Dimond Hi-Span is backed by Dimond’s reputation for quality and technical support.

Our Hi-Span system delivers superior technology, speed of installation and unparalleled strength and requires a minimum of maintenance throughout the life of structure. The DHS system can utilise 2 bracing systems including traditional bolt together bracing channels that feature a unique swage-lock brace connection that allows sections to be prefabricated on the ground and lifted into place with suitable lifting beams.

Fastbrace

Dimond also offers a revolutionary bracing system called fastBRACE which is a superb high strength, high speed lock-in bracing system for use with DHS purlins. This patented system is as strong as traditional bolted systems but up to 5 times faster to install. This advanced lock-in technology combines strength with speed and simplicity to give you the best of both worlds. The brace cleats have been specially shaped to restrict movement of the DHS purlin flange under load, a first, giving the assurance that you are getting the most out of the purlins.

  2. Purlin spans depend on a number of design factors specific to each building so a qualified design engineer must be consulted to complete a design for construction purposes.
